Refund & Cancellation Policy

FastGo Travel works hard to keep cancellations fair and predictable. This page explains how refunds are calculated, the timelines you can expect, and the Supplier rules that apply on top of ours.
- Every refund request is governed jointly by FastGo's policy and the underlying Supplier's fare/booking rules. The more restrictive of the two will apply.
- Cancellations must be requested in writing through the FastGo website, mobile app, or by emailing info@fastgotravel.com before the Supplier's deadline.
- FastGo charges a non-refundable service fee on all cancellations to cover ticketing, payment-gateway and processing costs.
- Approved refunds are returned to the original payment method only. Cash refunds are not offered.
Flights
Flight refunds depend entirely on the fare rules of the airline and class of booking. FastGo applies a service fee in addition to the airline's penalty.
- Non-refundable fares: only government taxes and statutory charges are refundable, where permitted by the airline.
- Refundable / flexible fares: refund as per the airline's published rule, less FastGo's service fee of BDT 500 per passenger per segment.
- No-show: bookings marked as no-show by the airline are treated as fully utilised and are non-refundable.
- Date change / reissue: airline change fee + fare difference + BDT 500 FastGo service fee per passenger.
- Refund processing typically takes 14–45 business days from the airline's settlement date.
Hotels
Hotel cancellation rules are set per property and per rate plan. The applicable rule is shown on the booking page and on your voucher.
- Free Cancellation rate: full refund if cancelled before the free-cancellation deadline shown on the voucher.
- Non-Refundable rate: no refund once the booking is confirmed, except where the property fails to honour the reservation.
- Partial refund rate: refund as per the property's tiered policy printed on the voucher.
- FastGo service fee on hotel cancellations: BDT 300 per room per night.
- No-show or early checkout: no refund for unused nights unless the property's policy explicitly allows it.
Tour Packages
Tour packages combine flights, hotels, transport and activities, so cancellation penalties grow as the departure date approaches.
- 46 days or more before departure: forfeit the initial booking amount plus any visa fees already paid.
- 45 – 31 days before departure: 60% of total tour cost is forfeited.
- 30 – 21 days before departure: 80% of total tour cost is forfeited.
- 20 days or fewer before departure: 100% of total tour cost is forfeited.
- Non-refundable inclusions (issued tickets, hotel pre-payments, event tickets) remain non-refundable regardless of cancellation timing.
Umrah & Hajj Packages
Umrah and Hajj packages are governed by Saudi Ministry quotas and visa rules; once issued, refunds are highly restricted.
- Before visa lodgement: refund of package cost less 20% administration fee and any non-refundable airline/hotel deposits.
- After visa issuance: airfare follows the airline's fare rule; visa fee, Mutawwif fee and Saudi government charges are non-refundable.
- Within 15 days of departure: 100% of package cost is non-refundable.
- No-show at the airport: fully non-refundable.
Visa Services
Visa processing fees pay for documentation, application and embassy submission — they are not contingent on visa approval.
- Embassy / consulate fee: non-refundable once paid to the mission.
- FastGo service fee: non-refundable once the application is submitted.
- Courier and biometric appointment charges: non-refundable.
- If FastGo has not yet submitted the application, a refund of the service fee less BDT 500 administration charge may be requested.
Bus Tickets
Bus cancellation rules vary by operator. Most operators charge a percentage-based penalty.
- More than 24 hours before departure: refund of fare less 10% operator charge and BDT 50 FastGo service fee.
- 6 – 24 hours before departure: refund of fare less 25% operator charge and BDT 50 FastGo service fee.
- Less than 6 hours before departure or after departure: non-refundable.
Cruise
Cruise lines work on long-lead bookings; penalties increase as the sailing date approaches.
- 30 or more days before departure: 90% refund of cruise fare.
- 15 – 29 days before departure: 50% refund of cruise fare.
- Less than 15 days before departure: non-refundable.
- Government taxes and port charges are refundable in all cases except no-show.
Travel Insurance
Insurance is regulated by the underwriter; refunds follow the policy's free-look and cancellation provisions.
- Free-look period (within 7 days of issuance, before travel start): full refund less underwriter's administration fee.
- After travel start or any claim filed: non-refundable.
eSIM
eSIM data plans are activated as digital goods and are generally non-refundable once delivered.
- Refund available only if the QR code has not been installed and is reported faulty within 48 hours of purchase.
- Once installed or data is consumed, the plan is non-refundable.
- Credit / Debit Card: 7–14 business days after FastGo authorises the refund.
- Mobile Financial Services (bKash, Nagad, Rocket): 3–7 business days.
- Internet Banking / Bank Transfer: 7–14 business days.
- International Card / Foreign Currency: 14–30 business days, subject to issuer bank.
- FastGo Wallet credit (if elected): instant.
- In case of airline grounding, route suspension, natural disaster, pandemic, war, civil unrest or government travel restriction, refund eligibility will be aligned with the Supplier's force majeure rules.
- Where the Supplier issues a travel credit / open ticket rather than a cash refund, FastGo will pass on the same instrument to the customer.
- FastGo's own service fee may be waived case-by-case for documented force-majeure events.
- Sign in to your FastGo account and open the booking from My Trips.
- Click Cancel Booking or Request Refund and follow the on-screen instructions.
- You will receive an acknowledgement within 24 hours and a refund eligibility breakdown within 3 business days.
- Once approved, the refund is credited to your original payment method within the timelines above.
